The CreativeXpert Re-Design

For the re-design, I used a pre-made theme {GASP!!!} as suggested by Smashing Magazine. This was pretty quick & dirty, but I love the outcome.

I’m pretty giddy about the re-launch, and I’m looking-forward to some great interviews in 2009.

The nnane Podcast: dug-up and dusted-off

— more than a really short domain name, but not much more than that…

In early 2007 {if memory suits me, I was between jobs}, I decided to take a stab at a comedy podcast.

It was a very original concept at the time — each episode was to seem like it was plucked from a different source. It was sort-of like a collection of oddities brought-into one location.

It was obvious from the beginning that the majority of the listeners didn’t get it, so nnane had a very short life. It didn’t help much that episode 1 was “the Sudoku Puzzle Podcast”. Talk about alienating the listener!

My favorite episode was SMuRF, “This Week in Smurf”.

It’s a TWiT parody that Leo Laporte would probably appreciate, but in two years time, I’m sick of trying to get to his front porch. (he’s impossible to reach)
